SAY HELLO TO AJAX! Ajax is an adorable 2 year old Whippet/Norwich Terrier mix boy. Weighing in at just 18 pounds and standing 17' at the shoulder, this long legged sweetheart will make such a wonderful member of your family. Axel sadly was surrendered because his owners were gone long hours and did not have time for him anymore. Those long hours all alone would eventually cause him to whine and bark while they were gone which in turn caused problems with neighbors in the apartment complex. Apartment living NOT recommended for Ajax, but a wonderful home with a beautiful fenced in yard for him to enjoy supervised play would be fabulous! What can we say about this handsome fella .. he is very mellow and SO very sweet. He's a little on the shy and sensitive side. He is good with both men and women and older children so if there are children in the home, they must be over the age of 12 and also will be respectful of their new family member. He has been very sheltered and will benefit from continued socializing outside of the home. Ajax is both house and crate trained. He enjoys his walks and is a gentleman on his leash - he doesn't pull and greets new dogs politely. He rides very well in the car. Ajax is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Ajax's adoption fee is $ 375.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, his neuter, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, microchip with lifetime membership and professional grooming. |Rescue Me ID: 18-01-28-00387Jedi (male)|
JEDI has come a long way baby. Jedi was a stay and he has come a longggg way in the short time he has had to adapt to a new fur coat and the love he gets on a daily basis. He was many balls of matted fur when found, and much of his fur he had bitten off due to the pain he had endured as it was pulling and hurting his skin. A kind lady took Jedi in her home and we learned early on that he LOVED attention and loved the little dog that the family had. She tried finding his home for a week and then had posted on media as well. Then W.O.W was called and we were able to continue the search for the family that we knew he had...but no one could come forward with any proof or photos or vet records, so lil Jedi was loved in a foster home where he was the pampered pooch, going to the groomers, the vets for the hot spots he had, and living the life of luxury with Foster sibling pups and kitties. Jedi loves everyone (tiny children may make him nervous, but I say that because he is shy at first and he has not been around a toddler that we are aware of).. He is a remarkable pooch who really, rightfully shouldn't like humans by the way he was cared for...but not this sweet boy... his ears are as large as his heart... which just gives him character. Super smart, a fast learner and playful boy with toys. **His fur will grow out to be medium to long in length, so he will need brushing and grooming. The photos posted are of him after his hair was shaved off due to the knots he had when found. Goes potty outside when taken, and sleeps in his bed/crate or the fosters bed (once in a while), but likes to go to his own bed in the middle of the night.. Jedi looks big in some of the photos, but he really isn't. A whopping 9 lbs and he is approx 1.5 years old according to the vet. We believe Jedi is a Norwich Terrier. Jedi is now neutered, current on immunization shots and Rabies shot..and he is also Micro-chipped. Do you think you could love Jedi forever?? Jedi's adoption fee is set at $250.00 PLEASE do not call or email to see if the dogs are available, If you still see that Jedi is NOT marked ADOPTED, then he is Still available. The ONLY way to be considered is to complete an application at www.wowdogrescue.org . We will go through applications and if yours is a perfect fit we will call you to meet up! Thanks for wanting to rescue your next family member!! (Less)

Norwich Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. Norwich Terriers are nearly identical to Norfolk Terriers, by which they differ only cosmetically (These two Terriers were once considered to be the same breed.) Norwich Terriers have an excellent disposition, are wonderful with children, and typically can get along with other pets. Norwich Terriers need to be with people and should have good obedience training. Housebreaking may require some patience. Norwich Terriers can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
