Loyal, good watch dog. Both elder owners rescued her off rd. 6 yr.'s ago. Both owners now in nursing homes. Sandy roams around her rural neighborhood, friendly with people that she gets to know, barks at strangers, does not attack strangers though. Barks at Ups truck, but will stop if commanded to. She knows basic commands. She will kill cats or bunnies if she sees them in the fields here. She has been chained, does well...with that. loves to be petted...loves to lie down by owner in pm. (chair,) she sleeps on a couch currently, but is still trainable to sleep elsewhere. Is housebroken. Would do best on Farm or fenced yard, as she ... (Read More)loves being outside during day, unless too hot. She loves to walk , with or without leash, with or without other dogs. On occasion she does find a dog she may not like, but is usually easily distracted if on leash. Only dog in our neighborhood, ( and we probably have 20) is a female rottwiler, that no doggie likes.....Please help with giving this loving dog a home! (Less)
